You can’t keep a good thing down, and Transformers has continued to go from strength to strength in 2012. New offshoots of the brand were announced, and with a seemingly assured future for at least a couple more years, and well loved parts of the toy line being extended with very popular additions, Transformers enthusiasts have much to be excited about. On top of that, the appeal of vintage Transformers collecting has grown and the known universe has expanded. But that’s just my opinion… 2012 Highs & Surprise | Source Blog <- CLICK TO READ Again, warning: opinions included! All the best Maz

A few months ago, it seemed like everyone was up in arms because not one RID Vehicon could be found on the shelves. Yesterday, I was doing some last minute shopping and peeked in the toy aisles. Most of the TF:Prime and WFC merchandise was cleaned out, which was nice to see. But the only toys I consistently saw left hanging were RID Vehicons. Strange how that works.

A special Christmas article this week from way up North near the Arctic! Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Finland, it seems vintage Transformers had made their way to the most unexpected reaches of the world during their enormous popularity in the eighties. While it is expected that most countries in Europe had access to Transformers toys, it still came as a surprise to discover that the North Atlantic island nation of Iceland had a Transformers history of its own. Transformers In Iceland | Source Blog <- CLICK TO READ Huge thanks to Nexus of Iceland (especially Svenni), Mijo, Morg and Meiradario for their help in producing this week's arti…

We don’t mind a bit of controversy in the opinions of our Collector’s Corner Source Interviewees, so the decision to showcase the collection and thoughts of well-known mint sealed G1 Action Figure Authority graded Transformers collector Jon Krause was an easy one. Jon’s professional artwork and illustrations have graced some of the world’s finest, most read and most prestigious publications, so his controversial pro-AFA views are not as conveniently Neanderthal as we would like to believe. Unlike some who use the grade on their museum-quality Transformers as just one more thing to beat other collectors over the head with, Jon’s appreciation comes from a different place. H…

So I finally got TF Prime FE Starscream and now the need for other First Editions is at its pinnacle! Looking for FE Prime and Bulk. Any luck out there. Only Toys that even seemed to have them was a place far far off and none since then.

Just received my Masterpiece Red Alert, just a heads up to take a look at Red Alerts legs for an assembly error, on mine the fold out panels that help lock the figures lower legs, and fill in the insides were swapped. They're riveted together, so I have no idea how to fix it, making the panels themselves completely useless. Don't know how widespread this issue is, but if anyone has a fix it would be much appreciated.

Back before botcon it really seemed like a no brainer to preorder the jetwing optimus. Every month since amazon has sent me a email reminding me that they honestly don't know when they will actually get the figure and that they will tell me when they know more. Now here it is November, I had put it so far in the back of my mind that I had totally forgot I had even preordered it and I get the email they send. Honestly when I first saw the email I thought g2 bruticus has shipped, since the title of the email is very similar to the one Amazon sends out when a order ships. XD Anyways I suppose it could had been brought on by the disappointment of g2 bruticus not bein…

Hello all I hope every one is doing great! It's been a long time since I did a update so here we go! Its a prototype 2up of the MP-01 Optimus prime matrix. Don't know if you are familiar with the toy making process but they usually cast resin models in larger sizes than the real toy so they can get more intricate details worked out before it is finalized.
