TF: Animated Sludge Since Animated only uses Grimlock, Slag, and Swoop, Sludge and Snarl are the odd Dinobots out, so I figured I'd take a whack at interpreting how they'd look. I'll probably do Snarl pretty soon.

So, I noticed some people were confused by the Rodimus in my Sig as to whether or not it was an official Rodimus design. It is NOT if you don't know by now, but I was thinking the other day, what other Transformers could I redesign to fool some people? So, in light of a recent, fantastic picture posted on the Official Transformers Collector's Club forum, I decided to redesign the infamous Autobot brothers in an Animated style. Keep in mind, there are no official designs yet for either of these two characters, so this is just what I think they might look like if they are added to the show. ENJOY!! :tfgrin

Here you all go. Something completely different. I was going to draw him jumping up and fighting Animated Prime, but I ran out of space on one sheet of paper, so I may draw in Animated Prime with his axe and edit him into the pic. Anyway, enjoy for now:

For the people who have not seen my work before, I have made several fan art Transformers pieces. It has been a while since I have posted any new art. Bumblebee is based on a piece of Dreamwave artwork. He is 26 x23 inches and he took 16 hours to complete. He will be going to Botcon this year. So while watching two fantastic episodes of Transformers: Animated the other day, it occurred to me that Animated Optimus, with his lack of a permanent face mask, somewhat resembles Machine Wars Optimus Prime. Additionally after re-studying Machine Wars Prime, I also noticed the additional similarities of his winged logo on his chest (similar to the logo that will be worn by Magnus, Sentinel Prime, and Jazz later in the show) and Truck cab with its angled windshield, so of course, I had to try drawing Machine Wars Prime in the Animated style. Hope you all enjoy the result.

I just thought I'd throw this up here. I just went ahead and drew and colored Prime's head in the Animated style and made a desktop of it (1680 x 1050) because that's my comp. screen resolution, and it's damn hard to find good desktops in that size unless you make them yourself. I also went ahead and set it as my avatar. Actually, that's wierd. It shows up as my avatar in the User CP, but not on this page. Any help?
