So while watching two fantastic episodes of Transformers: Animated the other day, it occurred to me that Animated Optimus, with his lack of a permanent face mask, somewhat resembles Machine Wars Optimus Prime. Additionally after re-studying Machine Wars Prime, I also noticed the additional similarities of his winged logo on his chest (similar to the logo that will be worn by Magnus, Sentinel Prime, and Jazz later in the show) and Truck cab with its angled windshield, so of course, I had to try drawing Machine Wars Prime in the Animated style. Hope you all enjoy the result.

You seem to be able to match the stylized form perfectly. I'm very impressed.

In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the average fan would mistake the Hotrod in your signature for an official image.

Kudos on the Machine Wars Prime, I've always liked that mold.

Surprisingly well done

Wow. Now if MW Prime were only actually like that.

:tfgrin thanks guys. I was thinking of drawing another guy from MW in the style, or maybe a beast. Any requests/suggestions?

If you want to go for another Machine Wars bot, I'd say Soundwave or Sandstorm would look nice. I would personally prefer to see a Beast done in this style - first choice, AirRazor... perhaps even a paring of her and Tigatron in a "backs-together" battle ready stance.

Whatever you choose I'm sure will come out great :clap

That MW Prime fits in perfectly with the Animated style. Very impressive.

Waspinator or Rattrap

Here's Sandstorm for now, I'm going to add Soundwave as soon as I get him colored:

An odd choice of words, I'm sure... but I find these guys drawn in this style to be very "cute"

I know, :ghey

I'm really enjoying these :thumb
