Optimus Prime

Just Prime, Convoy, Primal, Starsaber, and all the other Primeformers.

  1. Back when Energon was cheap, we could count on leader class figures having some serious weight to them. Today's shot takes a look at one of the bigger and grander toys from the Super Link days of 2004. What fans dubbed "fattimus" Prime for his big body and skinny legs in his powered-down mode. Was more than made up for with his Super Modes combined with the Prime Force attachments from his trailer or in combination with Wing Saber. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  2. In times of decision, the obvious choice should be BOTH! That's what BotCon gave us in 2017 with the Transformers Subscription Figures 5.0 Megatron w/ Spacewarp & Optimus Prime w/ Hi-Q set. We not only got BOTH Leaders Megatron and Optimus. We got DOUBLE Pretenders with inner robots, AND Mini-cons to boot! That's a lot of BOTH, so today we've got a shot of just the Optimus Prime side of things. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  3. Started by BaCon,

Sometimes, things go so wrong they create something so totally new and outrageous. Collectors like me, just gotta have them for the cultural insignificance they offer in the form of humor. When it comes to Transformers Knockoffs, the Optimus Prime character probably gets the most abuse of them all. Especially since the 2007 Movie. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  4. I am always looking for the next BIG toy to put on the shelf, but what about the little 'formers? Those tiny bits of plastic depicting our favorite Transformers characters can be a lot of fun to collect. What's quite remarkable is the quantity and quality of toys you will find, especially from Japan. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  5. You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friend's nose. Today's Optimus Prime shot is one of the yuckier figures in my collection. Not just, gross yuck, but funny yuck, yuck too. The Optimus Slime figure comes from a toy series that gets around licensing through the legitimate use of parody to copy well-known pop culture icons. 6. When you get down to it, there are probably more little things to collect than big ones. Nothing beats, a big heavy piece on the shelf. But when a lot of the fun of collecting is in finding the bits and pieces we really want, the little guys can offer a lot of bounty hunting goodness. While Hasbro's Tiny Titans make for some good game with a handful of non-transforming PVCs we rarely see in America. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  7. I could not help following up the previous Daily Prime with those Takara Masterpiece MP-1 Convoy trailers that I mentioned. What is worth noting is Takara did make a trailer for the MP-1 that was made of cardboard. It was included with the figure as part of the inner packing crate and had to be assembled by hand. 8. When the Transformers rolled out in 1984, having a computer at home was an expensive luxury that very few kids had. As a result, there was no shortage of licensed Transformers writing implements such as finders, notebooks, pens, erasers, pencils, and sharpeners to keep things on point when it came to school. 9. Started by UltraConvoy,

This is for fun since I always wanted to have pictures of these two guys together. The Gold Convoy Statue is the very first Gold Chrome Prime and its a pretty sweet piece. Had to take it out and match up with the Gold Henkei and thought i share some pics with you guys.

  10. Started by BaCon,

Yea, its a hard call. But everyone has their ONE, or few. Which is your favorite mold / edition of ALL TIME? Feel free to pontificate on this below... And no, that Gold MP-1 is not my favorite.
