Optimus Prime

Just Prime, Convoy, Primal, Starsaber, and all the other Primeformers.

  1. Just wanted to ask what you all think I should spring for. I personally prefer how the Bumblebee model looks, but most of you have much more experience than I. In short, which model is better overall?

  2. They are probably KOs, but I went for it over the $120 listings - https://www.ebay.com/itm/392825385457 @Ender @Nathimus Prime

  3. It is all just Prime to me be it big or small, dark or light, cheap and expensive they all have a place on my shelves. Truth be told, the only good choice is ALL when it comes to collecting. So for today's shot, we are taking a look at all of the Takara Super Collection Figure (SCF) figures that were made for the 1988 Super God Masterforce cartoon that was exclusive to Japan. 4. I could not help following up the previous Daily Prime with those Takara Masterpiece MP-1 Convoy trailers that I mentioned. What is worth noting is Takara did make a trailer for the MP-1 that was made of cardboard. It was included with the figure as part of the inner packing crate and had to be assembled by hand. 5. For some of us, there will never be another Optimus Prime to match Takara's Masterpiece MP-1 figure. Many will argue that it is too big, heavy and is difficult to transform. These are all good points, yet it is not what makes this figure good or bad, it is that it set a new and very high standard for what an Optimus Prime toy could be. 6. Collecting Optimus Prime isn't all heroics and leadership. There is plenty of room for humor, though we don't get nearly enough of it. Today's shot takes a look at the funnier side of Optimus Prime with the Topps Garbage Pail Kids We Hate the 80s Series 1 #3B OPTIMUS FINE Trading Card from 2018. Topps is known for poking fun at things originally with their Wacky Packages stickers featuring crazy parodies of popular products, and then later the Garbage Pail KIds rife with their own crazy characters that take aim at the 80s Transformers Leader who's accompanied by the 2018 Mighty Muggs 2. 7. Thank God It's Friday! After a long haul, it feels good to transform and drink up with Hoptimus Prime. No kidding, this is a real thing with people fabricating their own disguises out of beer boxes and cans to transformers themselves into an Optimus Prime inspired robot. Judging from the number of twelve-packs needed, these guys are going to learn what more than meets the hangover means after all that cheap beer. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  8. I can't remember a more anticipated and copied figure than the Transformers Studio Series SS-38 Optimus Prime figure. This figure is so detailed and complicated, one would assume it would be too hard to reproduce. Yet, I have stopped following the many officially licensed and third party editions that have been made, with more in the works. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now

  9. What's great about collecting Prime toys is the fact that you are not limited to just the Autobots. There is a lot to be had on the dark side of the Transformers Universe where we may encounter dark incarnations of Prime generally in the form of Nemesis Prime, but also as Scourge (Menasor), Shattered Glass, Black Convoy, and even Galvatron.
