For some of us, there will never be another Optimus Prime to match Takara's Masterpiece MP-1 figure. Many will argue that it is too big, heavy and is difficult to transform. These are all good points, yet it is not what makes this figure good or bad, it is that it set a new and very high standard for what an Optimus Prime toy could be.

Finally sold my MP-10 to help cover the cost of MP-44. I know it will be worth it, but MP-10 has such a great transformation and I prefer it’s trailer.  That said, I’ll never sell my 20th Anniversary Optimus. Will be fun to compare.
