The Cyber Series was our first look at the Evergreen designs put into effect. The figures have stayed in production through the years with deco changes here and there. Amazon sells two packs of some of the core characters, Optimus Prime and Megatron are one of those sets. I believe that Prime features a more metallic paint job while Megatron's deco now features a bit more brown. Transformation is simple for both but that's not necessarily a bad thing. These make for great introductions to the Transformers brand and the sets make a great gift.

The latest reuse/remold of the Transformers Studio Series Junkion motorcycle mold is Scrapheap. His transformation is a little different but the real story is the remolded chest. On my copy, it is almost an impossible bear to navigate. That said, once managed, both modes look terrific and the joints are tight.

Today, we are checking out Transformers: Prime Wars, Titans Return #Perceptor and #Topspin. Perceptor is the resident Autobot Microbiologist. He is not only very smart, he once helped save Cybertron from a gigantic Starscream. As a Headmaster, Perceptor's partner is Convex. On the other hand, Topspin is a Wrecker and his partner is Freezeout. His brother and fellow Wrecker is Twin Twist, also a Headmaster. These figures were purchased second-hand from Notomus Prime. To commemorate the release of Rise of the Beasts, Sketchers have produced an unlikely Tie-in. Sketchers TF Themed Shoes. I bought the white, red and blue Optimus Prime themed ones, but the darker Optimus Primal ones would have been a more practical choice. I just couldn't pick Primal over Prime, despite the movie really, really wanting me to. I have pretty big feet, and getting the right size in HK was a bit tricky, but I managed and after a bit of a wear-in period, they are very comfortable. You can get a Bumblebee and a Megatron one too from memory. Look them up, they are cool. I don't know if you can get them where you live, btu they seem a good shoe so far!
