  1. The Wal-Mart in Oak Ridge had 2 Titanium Soundwaves and 1 Titanium Rodimus Prime on Wednesday of this week.
  2. The TRU in west Knoxville had the Classics Optimus/Megatron 2-pack with DVD earlier this week. I went by today and they had some more in stock.
  3. I just got back from Thanksgiving with the family in Alabama and my trip down on Thursday morning (I left here around 1:00 a.m.) was quite eventful. I found Jetfire at the WalMart in Gadsden on I-59 (Rainbow City exit). It was sort of surreal ... the store was almost empty, no customers or associates ... and amid the mess of toys on the aisle, there was Jetfire sitting on top of some wrestling figures. It is SUCH an incredible homage to the original toy. I can't believe Alabama had these in stock before we did here in TN.
  4. I hit the jackpot this morning at the Turkey Creek Super Target in west Knoxville. I used the DPCIs for TF classics Deluxe and Voyager cases and ... VOILA ... I have wave 1 of the classics! Go to your local Target and find an associate who will type in these DPCI numbers into the LRT and research the items: Deluxe: 087061166 Voyager: 087061167 The Target I visited had 1 case of each assortment ... and there were two of each TF character in wave 1. I only bought one of each, so there is still a complete set of wave 1 characters at that Target. I did not try any of the other Targets in the Knoxville area. Happy hunting!
  5. Hey guys ... long time/no see. I'm still here in Knoxville, I just haven't been too active on the forums lately. I don't have any sightings to report, but I did want to know if you all were interested in meeting up again someday? I would like to get back in touch with you all. I'm really excited about Classics coming out. They've been spotted out west, so maybe they'll be here in mid to late October (not getting my hopes up too much, though) Just wanted to say HI, so take care and let's chat about planning a meeting again sometime. Tony
  6. Found Metroplex at Turkey Creek (West Knoxville) Wal-Mart this morning. A friend told me there are also some left at the Wal-Mart in Halls (North Knoxville).
  7. I'm going to sell some of my more recent TF toys ... all my G1 stuff, however, will have to be ripped from my dead clutches! I'm posting this here to see if any of you guys around the east TN area wanted to take me up on buying the lot. Here's what I've got: TF Cyberton: Crosswise, Starscream (smaller version sold in a TRU 2-pack), Optimus Prime, Override, Hardtop, Sideways TF Energon: MIP Aerialbots set, MIP Constructicons set, MIP Combaticons set, Demolisher (green dumptruck), Omega Supreme (blue and orange colors), Sharkticon, Megatron (smaller version from TRU), Insecticon, Wing Saber, Arcee, Bulkhead (green version), Optimus Prime (full sized version). TF Armada: Demolisher (brown and orange version), Blurr, Overload, Jetfire, Sideways, Tidal Wave. If anyone is interested in the lot, p.m. me and we'll discuss. I would prefer to deal with someone who lives close enough to meet me half-way for the trade off.
  8. I finally found Soundwave last Friday at the Clinton Highway Wal-Mart ... sorry for the late post. I still haven't seen Wing Saber.
  9. Has anyone in Knoxville found Soundwave yet?
  10. I know some of you aren't big Super Sentai fans, but bear with me. I just got this in the mail from HLJ: http://www.hlj.com/images/ban/ban931610.jpg It's from the MagiRanger series. The theme this time around is mythology and magic. The mecha consists of a Phoenix (Red), Taurus (Green), Garuda - winged man-bird (Yellow), Fairy - I know, totally corny (Pink) and Mermaid (Blue). These five can combine to make the big robot shown and they can combine to make a dragon with the Red bot a the rider. The next mecha coming out is this one: http://www.hlj.com/images/ban/ban931611.jpg It's a Centaur ... and it can combine with the other 5 (some if not all) to make a bigger bot! I can't wait. I've got a digital camera, but no photobucket or webpage account. if anyone is interested in seeing pix, let me know and I'll see about getting a friend to post them. By the way ... does anyone here want to plan a meeting for Tennessee TF collectors? There was a meeting last year in Knoxville, but I was out of town and missed it. Anyone know of another one coming soon? TLC
  11. A3, A4, D1 and D2 were found at the Turkey Creek Target in west Knoxville earlier today.
  12. The Wal-Mart in Knoxville (Walker Springs) had the display this morning. I was under the mistaken impression that the pallet would have A 1 thru 5 and C 1 thru 5, but there was only the A 1,2 and 5 and C 1,2 and 5. I guess we still have to wait until January to get the others. TLC
  13. They are coming to a TRU near you ... TRU in East Knoxville had the new Mega robots (as of Saturday afternoon). 2xShockblast, 2xEnergon Ironhide, 2xDreadwing and 1xCliffjumper. After seeing the American Shockblast, I'm glad I got the Japanese "Laserwave." Same quality, but I like the use of gray on the Japanese one instead of the tan colored legs and chest harness on the American one.
  14. As of 10:15 this morning, the Wal-Mart in the Turkey Creek shopping center (West Knoxville) had 1 Alt. Dead End and 2 Alt. Hounds and the new Powerlinks Battles packaging of Basics, Deluxes and Omega Supreme. I was really hoping Sharkticon would be there, but someone beat me to him. I'll check the other area Wal-Marts after work this afternoon. TLC
  15. Glad to join the group ... nothing new in K-town. Maybe we all should have a "buy 3 E-Ironhides" Day to clear all these shelves out and make some room for new stuff. Anyone else here in Knoxville or the surrounding area? TLC
