  1. Opinions are quite divided on this one. Build quality maybe a notch down, but as far as cartoon accuracy this one is pretty spot on. What do you think?
  2. how can you not like this version of Devastator?;) Well, maybe it's not for everybody, but I really like this figure. Well made and has a very high fun factor. Enjoy!
  3. MP-13 Soundwave. I wanted to do this one for a long time. I think this one has a special place in the masterpiece line. He's quite cartoon accurate, but is also very sturdy, and has this old school feel to it.
  4. Since pre-orders are up again, I present to you MMC's homage to Mirage. MMC did a really good job on this one, named PS-01C Sphinx Cel. The transformation is not overcomplicated and very enjoyable.
  5. I kinda like these Newage mini 'masterpieces'. I'm a bit on the fence on their joints; some way to loose, some too tight, but I love the looks and the amount of moving parts on such a small scale. I present to you H23 Darius: Galvatron!
  6. MP-51 Arcee, a masterpiece shellformer. Except for the backpack, still a pretty accurate and fun figure. The shell transformation is actually pretty involved and I don't mind the backpack as much as I thought I would. What do you think? Enjoy!
  7. Does Masterpiece Optimus Prime MP-10 still hold up today? Check out my no-word review / showcase and decide for yourself! Accompanied by some homemade chiptunes:) Happy holidays everybody!
  8. FansProject Smart Robin (Headmaster Brainstorm). This is a pretty old third party transformer, but still very impressive in terms of smart transformations! Maybe the best of the Funcion-X line. The way the cockpit and part of the nose folds in to form the torso is some smart engineering. Enjoy!:
  9. This itty bitty Soundwave is actually pretty impressive. Spot on G1 look and feel, a good build quality and an enjoyable transformation, especially the legs. Enjoy!
  10. I just love this figure. Check out my video. What do you think?
  11. Here's my take on Beast Wars MP-50 Tigatron. I like him. He starts to grow on me, although, I do have some mixed feelings, especially about the legs. The leg transformation is great, but at the same time the range of motion is a bit too limited in both modes in my opinion, especially in the tiger mode. But there's always something to complain about:) Enjoy!
  12. I know, another Optimus Prime, but this is a stranger in our midst:). I love the SD line of Master Made. Maybe the transformation is not the most sophisticated one (although I actually like it) and the alt mode is not the best aspect of the figure, but he's is just so much fun to mess with and the very posable hands give him a lot of character! Enjoy!
  13. A Cophonz showcase/review/transformation video. Because War for Cybertron premiered on Netflix, here's my take on this pretty cool version of Optimus Prime. I might actually like the robot mode more than the later released Earthrise version, since the abdomen and chest are better in proportion in this Siege version in my opinion (just an opinion:)). Especially after removing all the kibble, which I show later in the video. Copy at own risk! Enjoy!
  14. Time for a Decepticon for a change. Studio Series Starscream. With a bit more ominous background music:) Enjoy!
