Yup I went thru that once Armada started. I saw a few episodes of that and was done. I didn't get back into it until TF1 started looming.

It is better, because it looks like a robot, while TFA Soundwave looks like a guy in a suit with a helicopter helmet :tfpuke LMAO! Holy crap it does! Granted practically every robot from Animated had that "human in a suit" look. I didn't hate it but I can see why you dont. Soundwave is a fun toy and most of my affection for it stems from his character on the show. I loved him having ambition and mind-control powers. Just wish he would've hooked up with the Cons rather then just meet Megatron for 10 seconds.

I thought Animated was one of the highest rated TV shows for boys ages X-XX at the time? That show was excellent and I loved that the toys were able to retain accuracy from an engineering standpoint. All lines since TF1 for sure have ended up in a pile of clearance before long. Hasbro had a bomb and went nuts after TF1 when they didnt make enough for the holiday and ended up producing too much year round. What was left on the shelves isnt necessarily an accurate way to determine how much was sold. We could do this dance for years Onslaught. But at the end of the day we both know that Soundwave was awesome. XD Yeah Soundwave is awesome still waiting for Takara to repaint him into WFC Soundblaster :P You sure were talking about the same Soundwave? Too late! You and I both know that Animated Soundwave is awesome! Its written in stone now.

Badass!

Its difficult to say what's "accurate" since Roadbuster was never shown in the G1 cartoon. I never liked the look of the original toy so I guess that's why I'm not really loyal to that version of RB. The Universe version could be bigger but other that it rocks to me. Not in the toon but he's been in plenty of comics. Thats what thats from, thats what he looks like in the fiction.

I was referring that portion to his assumption that everyone would think Prime would be the best thing since BW.

Give me the pink elephant! Universe Roadbuster doesnt get a lot of love because it doesnt look NEARLY as awesome as this picture. When they make this, then I will be very happy.

How can you say that when this show contains loads of movie influences and A LOT of people in the fandom fucking hate the movies? Animated was probably the best written show since Beast Wars. A true fan in Derrick Wyatt really put in TONS of old Transformer nods. Way more then a single episode in Prime. Animated also had excellent animation and the action was badass. I havent seen anything on par with Lugnut's firepower or anything in Prime thats as funny. There were moments in Animated where I lost my breath from laughing. Ive only chuckled about 3 times through Prime. I hate the movies and I hate that they are influencing this show. The designs in Prime are a little better. The writing is absolutely crippled by trying to produce laughs using 3 worthless kids and action from a "Con of the week" mentality (which Animated also suffered from). Prime has potential but so far its nothing compared to BW or even Animated. At least as far as I'm concerned.

EPIC!

Its ok at it's best. The best episode so far has been Scrap Heap and Darkness Rising part 4. The one thing that really stands out to me thus far is Soundwave. More and more I'm liking the tall, dark, mysterious version. His ability to just creepily appear behind Starscream that also seems to unnerve Starscream himself is amusing. I hope he'll get to talk on his own accord though, even if it is rare.
