This is another pencil sketch I did, just retouched a bit w/ photoshop.

What this pic is about: Two fighters approach the testing base, located on an island in the Pacific. The white fighter is the venerable VF-1S Valkyrie, representative of the first generation of transformable fighters that fought in Space War One ( Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, Macross: Do You Remember Love? ), defending the SDF-1. The second fighter, the WraithVerge, is about to undergo it's final operational shakedown at the base on the island before being accepted as UN Spacy's newest Stealth Valkyrie. Together, these fighters represent two different eras of Earth history in one frame.

see what you think....

looks very Macross

it is. But the top ship is WraithVerge, and represents what he transforms into.

BTW, WraithVerge isn't just a piloted mech in macross; I also adapted him to transformers as an Autobot.

*and there was much rejoicing*

Very much like macross.

Like I said; it IS Macross. The white fighter is the VF-1 valkyrie (veritech in Robotech).

Now that is good. At first I didn't know what it was but yea its from Robotech. I really never got into that...

Well, I'm actually writing a Fanfic (will post soon!!!) about it: It's a Macross fighter that ended up in the TF universe and was brought to life by the infusion of a spark.

Jetfire called, he wants his bio back.

:tflaugh

:rofl

:rofl

I once wrote as part of a Tf project I made, that Gobotron developed the airframe for Macross pilots and later, Jetfire based his altmode on those fighters when he came to earth. It was my way of saying "Bandai and chums did it BEFORE hasbro", if you get my drift.
