Last night i stumbled across this forum after clicking a link for images of the new Junkion Hound repaint from Seibertron.com. Interesting, i thought. A forum i have not yet spammed with my drunken ramblings! I stuck around for a look.

 

Low and behold i see the colour god known as JOSH! He has a tutorial for Photoshop. A program i have had for a year, but could not make heads nor tails of!

I have seen tutorials before, but they all expect the viewer to have at least the basic knowlage, not like me!

I clicked on the link for a gander and was hooked. All of a sudden it all made sense! The Jargon started to fall into place! Theres no stopping me now!

I have spent today after returning from work, trying to colour my fave Grimlock fanart pencil. In between greiving over the trajic loss of life in southern Russia. So it has taken me nearly 7 hours, but this is my very first one and a huge, gigantic improvement over my attempts before.

X-BoB58. I would love to have a look at your stuff, but i have 11 other Heavy Metal War charecters to do first. That and this is my first attempt taking me a VERY long time! I "collect" fan art from the net. The imagination that goes into them is fabulous. Have a look at Josh's tutorial and try for yourself. If you get stuck, you can ask me or i bet there are many others on here that will help you out.

 

I have a full days work on tomorrow, but i plan to start on Wargasm (fembot) on Sunday. The wife, 2 y/o, fitting the new kitchen, cutting the hedge and washing the car aside it will be ready in 48 hours.
