as an owner of ALL the modes... I have to say the Transmetals 2 megatron is the worst ,,, looks rediculous. Megabolt transforms into a head but has a cool robot mode. Alligator megatron rocks and I like the R.I.D one too, he looks menacing.Favorite mold is probably energon or G2.

I picked reptillian megs.  I liked the G2 green tank alot.  Don't like the G1 toy at all. And what was up with the hand mode in Rid?  Is there a thread here?  Big head?  Big hand?  Soon the big foot will appear..  Then the Mega Megatron combiner will be born some day lol

 

First of all his name is GIGATRON!!!!

Second of all he uses the hand mode to combine with his base the Giagastar to fight Brave Maximus.

Therd of all Gator megs is nammed Megaligtor.

Do you think we don't know that Rid Megatron is Gigatron in Japan? How stupid do you think we are? Right here goes:

 

G1 - Great alt mode, craptastic bot mode. But I rate as good purely for the alt mode

 

WST - GREAT! Still crappy bot mode, but small and cheap enough to not offend me. He sits on my desk proudly staring up at me. Well, not up. Sort of at my chest

 

Action Master - I like the concept of the Action Masters. Sorta like the MASK toys. The vehicle transforms from one mode to another, but the figure stays put. But still, the figure could have been more detailed, so I'll give this a thumbs down

 

G2 - Looks cool, if slightly unarticulat. I swear one day I will cave and buy him

 

G2 Hero - Cool. Great customization potential. My RID Bludgeon now looks more like G1 Megs than G1 Megs ever did (thanks to Bodycount for the inspiration)

 

G2 Gobot - Not even worth counting

 

BW gator - Crap

 

BW T-Rex - Okay, but not my cuppa tea. Everything seems so out of proportion, even his face

 

TM1 - Head and shoulders are perfect, arms and legs are too small. Next

 

TM2 - His "arm" arm is too small, and his "head" arm drags on the floor because his legs are too short. He could also benefit from a big shoulder pad on his arm arm.

 

Machine Wars - Okay it does have a Megs-ish head, but it's still a very generic mould, and also a pile of crap

 

BM - Looks like a McDonalds version of TM2 Megs.

 

Megabolt - Crap

 

RID - I like! Unlike ANY of the previous beast Megatrons, he has a great, well proportioned bot mode. Okay, some of the alt modes leave something to be desired, but the 2 headed dragon is wicked!

 

Armada - Good to see old Megs as a machine again! He has aspects of all Megatron eras. G1, he has a cannon under his arm. G2, he's a tank. BW, well just look at the head (resembles RID at least). Only structural complaints are the lack of articulation, and how far forward his feet come! Otherwise I like him a lot

 

Energon - Yet to see in the flesh, but he looks AMAZING! I cannot wait for the Galvatron repaint!

 

Speaking of Galvatron, shouldn't they be included in the poll too, since he IS Megs?

Also, is Magmatron part of the Megs family? He bares more than a passing resemblance to RID Megs/Gigatron. Especially the hands on his stomach

I thought Megatron's BM drone body was kinda cool. Who wouldn't want to be a little floating ball with li'l arms and hands and a sinister looking glow? How the mighty have fallen!
