Does Star Wars > TF to Hasbro?

But Hunter does have a point, if we're talking about robot heads. All the robot head does is tuck away somewhere, so in theory they could use different head moulds for repaints as long as the new head still fits in the designated area on the repainted body.

yeah so figures like swindle and hound - why is it every Jeep repaint has to have one of THOSE heads?

couldn't they just as easily have given it a Skids head or something?

Point is you now have many possible variations on the standard repaint. In fact most of the fandom was doing that pretty consistently (I sill have my "overdrive" with Decepticharge head = Windhcarger)

Don't the Hound/Swindle heads rotate back when you put them in alt-mode? (Haven't TF'd mine in a while.) Even if the pegs were the same, you still couldn't use (for example) Smokescreen's head because it wouldn't be capable of doing the transformation.

I think the heads had to be engineered differently because they all fit into alt-mode differently.
