An Urban person will put giant-ass silver wheels on anything and think it's "pimp"

I think it's ugly and stupid.

Along with anything remotely associated with "urban culture"..which translates to poorly educated, baggy pants, culture.

no disrespect there BC (as i luv your kitbashes :thumb ), but you obviously aren't knowledgeable enough about urban culture to make such statements. your comments are all surface and no substance. the fact that you think that baggy pants equals a lacking education, shows your lack of education on this topic. 1

baggy pants originated with skater kids sometime in the late 80's early 90's. baggy pants then became popular with many sub-culture groups including Ravers, Grunge rockers, Hip Hop, and hell even Goth kids. up until about 5 years ago it was next to impossible to find a propperly fitting pair of pants as baggy pants had all but taken over popular men's fashion for just about everyone. i went through hell in hskool (1996-1999) trying to find a pair of tight pants. i eventrually started wearing western cut Wrangler jeans and eventrually found my favorite clothing manufacturer Lip-Service.com (who's clothing are made for tall thin people). now it seems like tight pants on men are making a come back due to the recent retro garage, indie, and emo rock trends.

this is btw totally off topic. as far as the actrual topic is concerned as much as i hate recockulously big SUV's on the road i'd love to see some BT's made if for nothing else a change of scale. i mean a BT based on a H2 would be almost twice as big as one based on a WRC. also some of the larger pick up trucks would make great BT figures. like the Nissan Titan and the new Ford F-150.

Actually, baggy pants were first popular to the swing kids of the 30's and 40's, with things such as "zoot suits", suits with oversized jackets and huge, baggy pants. Remember wearing a chain that connected to your wallet from your belt? They did that back then, too, as an accessory to the suit, not this early 80's and 90's crap. The point being, no culture evolves in a vaccuum, every culture steals and copies so much from every culture around it, it is impossible to tell which is the "original" or "authentic" culture. I bet you could even find earlier examples of baggy pants than the zoot suit. Even the early greek philosophers believed that there is no such thing as an original idea, it has all been thought of before by someone else, which amounts to these supposedly really smart guys from years ago whom we base a lot of our society upon (law, government, schools) admitting to plagarism.

Don't bash cultural differences just because you dont like them, nor should you look down your nose at them, especially while believing you are a part of some better culture. We all do it, we steal ideas from each other, convince ourselves it is our own, original, idea, and bash those who are different from us. All of that is far too easy to do and it is lazy. Celebrate our differences and then you'll see just how similar we all are.

I like escalades, and hummers. HELLO SOUNDWAVE!!!!! :thumb *awaits tomatoes to be thrown*

I don't think they'll ever get to anything besides cars or small SUVs. Since everything is supposedly at a set scale and realistic, and the toys are kibbleistic enough as it is, something like a Hummer just has too much surface area. There'd be roof and doors hanging off EVERYWHERE, and they can't "cheat" the way they did with X-Brawn. Plus it'd be a lot bigger than a car and it'd be hard to maintain the same price point.

My guess, anyways.

I like my culture, i like my baggy pants, i like my bass heavy music, i like nice things too, now i like to walk in the park, and read, but you shouldn't dog somebodys culture just b-cuz you don't like it, and why does it have to be a pimp character just b-cuz it's a escalade, you know what i see more people above 55 drving them than any young people. so i think they make an escalade, it should be kup.

I agree with every word you said until you got to the Kup remark. :redface Kup should be a smaller truck. But hey, that's just me. I like the Escalades. I would really like to see a TF one. I would also like to see more trucks in in the alt line. These cars are all well and good, but I would like to see something that represents power, as opposed to speed. Plus, the varied body style of the Trucks would lend to different methods of transformation. Which, it seems to me that Hasbro is runnig out of what they can do with a car.

Just my $.02

I think Kup sould be a model T damnit! It's just logical. And the talk about the hummers and escalades, Shame on you all for thinking most urban folk are nothing but gang banging idiots. There some good people in those ghettos who work harder in a day then you'll ever work your entire life.

yes i know this :P i mean the modern trend which developed not out of a sense of fashion but a sense of comfort. skaters (much like martial artists) wore (and wear) baggy clothes to make moving easier.
