FemeScream obviously represents his SEXUALITY. Not as in gay straight or anything but his need for both physical and emotional pleasure from a life partner. Its obvious, it was portrayed in the "Don't Ask" exchange DAMNED similar to the OP-Sari sex-talk :guh face moment. She is obviously gonna be portrayed as Thunderblast was in Cybertron. The girly with the crush on the boss-man. Hell I even see some damned funny exchanges between her and BlackArachnia trying to "pull" the same guy.. The show clearly has attraction in the physical sense worked out well by the look on BumbleBees face every time he sees Spiderbot in her bot-mode.

 

Hmm white Screamer I don't think its Ramjet, not with those red highlights. Maybe a Jetfire Screamer old best mates type nod.

re: Girlscream, I just think it's a funny random thing that plays on Starscream's... uh, traditionally not quite "macho" persona.

Freefall, I know we didn't see much of Chickscream's character, but somehow I really don't think she's Screamer's sexuality of any kind. :\ For one, she wasn't throwing herself at Megatron and begging for him to pay attention to her I MEAN XD

 

But, seriously, unless Starscream's sexuality is the same as that of a ten-year-old who tugs on the pigtails of the person he likes, I really don't see it. She didn't express any interest in any of the Screamers, or in Megs ("Aim for his spark chamber!" anyone?), or, well, anyone. She was, on the other hand, perceptive, ruthless, and a better-than-average fighter with a somewhat acerbic personality (but then, which Screamerclone didn't?).

Screamer is the type of guy who COULDNT find a girl who he could trust, or who could trust him. The only compatible person in the universe for such a corrupt and vile individual who would "screw" anyone out of anything is himself. His sheer will to be the top man led to the creation of the only person who could match him in devious will and who only could keep up with his mind. Starscream just couldn't express his longings for love as to him love is dependence on others for oneself, someone who he had to care about and look after. He can only and will only look after number 1, himself so the power of the allspark naturally gave him a chance to gain such a relationship.

Note: Transformers are genderless robots. They have NO genitals, do not sexually reproduce (not open for debate!) and therefore don't really have sexual preferences beyond very strong psychological-emotional attachments. They have genderised anima, which is the closest thing that they have to genders, but they don't have true genders and therefore do not have true sexual preferences.

Conclusion: Sexuality is a non-issue for Transformers.

In any case, I really doubt giant alien robots think of interpersonal intimacy the same way we humans do. If there's no meaningful sexual dimorphism, and gender is all mentality and aesthetics, can we really say that a male-identifying cybertronian who happens to find another male-identifying cybertronian visually pleasing or emotionally engaging is gay? (Well, he may be happy if the other guy returns his affections, but. :07laugh )

Ya know, you can analyze this issue to death, but ultimately it's a kids' cartoon and the characters are male/female because people are male/female. Of course robots don't have gender, but I don't really think that's the point. Transformers isn't a speculative fiction documentary.

 

Maybe that's why I didn't focus on girlscream the most... I was too busy enjoying Omega Supreme's ass kicking
