If he can't be a mini-van, and shouldn't be a station wagon, then Ironhide should be a Dodge Ram.

"If he can't be a minivan?"

You mean you actually want Ironhide to be a minivan? How lame can you get?

Ironhide needs to be a big, tough, MASCULINE vehicle, not a soccer mom's ride.

you know the odd thing is that people associate the g1 mold as a minivan. that is considered a fullsize van. the kind they put on a truck chassis. minivans are wayyy to wussy for any transformer. even skids

Have to disagree with you about Skids, smith2. His alt mode (I only recently realized what it was) would make a VW Golf look like that Aztec you drive. It was a complete POS mini-mini-sub-compact car that actually came with a scooter (presumably as a backup for when the car died).

But anyway, vans in general haven't been cool since they cancelled the A-Team. I always thought Ironhide got the worst deal of any of those G1 guys -- sucky alt mode and "wtf" robot mode. The dude definitely needs some Alternator lovin' -- Hasbro owes him that much.

the chevy avalanche would be cool aslong as it had that change gimick, could be one of the best things to happen to chvy if done b-cuz they have been saying transform and change in the cormercials for that thing.

The mini-van is the station wagon of today. For the '70s and '80s, the station-wagon was considered the lame, family vehicle.

Guess what the Dodge Magnum is, a station wagon!

but its got a HEMI

sorry...

the station wagon is making a comeback cause of high gas prices. the magnum doesnt fit into the ironhide persona though, a little to civilized

A HEMI engine doesn't mean anything to me.

Take a look at this from what we have seen in the Alternators line so far. All of the toys that have been and will be released have transformations that a faithful or similar to their G1 counterparts. Smokescreen, Jazz, Tracks, Sideswipe, even Grimlock, are all reminiscent of their G1 versions in robot mode. As a van, in order to get a robot mode like we see in the G1 cartoon, he would have to be a van. Just try to consider what Hasbro/Takara might do.

um actually Tracks has a different transformation from his G1 self as well as Sideswipe, Grimlock too, so it's not that he has to be g1, because this is only g1 based, if it were g1 there'd be alot of changes and awhole lot of less whining. so i say Ironhide as Ram SRT10 RiD transformation, i think people would whine less if they did that then if he turned into a mini-van.

There are already two versions of the Dodge Viper in the Alternator/Binaltech line up, plus a SRT4 version of the Dodge Neon in the works.

So what Vehicle from the Dodge line up would you like to see turned into an Alternator/binaltech figure next?

My vote goes to the Magnum, nothing like good old American Muscle crammed under the hood of a station wagon.

I second that motion!! :thumb

Think this would make the best IRONHIDE myself. :tftongue

I thought the Ram was confirmed (sortof) the showed pictures of the Rumblebee somehwere around the same time as the mustang pics

I was where now? :tftongue
