The problem is Hasbro is still letting a character's popularity determine the size of their toy instead of just making everybody to scale. Although it would have been kind of funny if Sentinel was just as short in the cartoon and he had a huge Napolean complex about. I wonder if Hasbro even intended to make a toy of Sentinel from the start or if this is the same case as BM Silverbolt; a toy of a cartoon-only character that was rushed thru the R&D process to get it on the shelves before the series ended.

Forget it, it's obvious that I can never come up with a suitable reason for having the opinions that I do. Just give me a better explanation for why Sentinel is a stubby little delux because to me, being small due to his dickery is the only explanation that makes sense.

Honestly, it's in Hasbro's best interest to stick to deluxes anyway. The fewer Voyagers they have clogging the shelves and costing valuable space in terms of stores and shipping manifests, the better Hasbro does, and the more and better toys we get.

Exactly. Bulkhead and Cybertronian mode Megatron seem to be Animated wave 1's Voyager shelfwarmers. I would guess that these guys are more popular then Sentinel. I could see Voyager Sentinel clogging shelf space as well. It was the right business decision to make him a Deluxe.

I was about to say he'd sell just fine as a voyager but then I remembered how long E Ironhide warmed shelves here.

Exactly! If you think about it, Sentinel is in scale with: either Deluxe Optimus, Deluxe Soundwave, Deluxe Snarl (Slag), Deluxe Swoop, Voyager Bulkhead, Voyager Lugnut, and Voyager Grimlock. That's a lot of figures he's in scale with. As far as popularity goes, perhaps the least likable character in Animated could end up being a well sought after figure. At this point, who knows? Just my opinion...
