Unicron vs Galactus :Battle of the Planet Eaters

Recommended Posts

As a TFfan, I would say Unicron, but Galactus is just more powerful. Besides his enormous personal power, he has ships etc at his disposal. His home ship in Secret Wars was the size of a solar system! (Eat that Unicron).

Hey, speaking of TF to Marvel comparisons, I just recently noticed that some ideas from Marvel were transported to G1 when they first came.

Best example: Devastator and the Hulk. The Constructicons are very intelligent TFs by themselves, as mentioned in Dreamwave and they build things after all, but when they combine to Devastator, they become an extremely violent and mindless titan that destroys everything in its path. Bruce Banner is a genius as a human but has child-like intelligence and amazing strength when he turns into the Hulk. If there is even bigger proof, they have the same color scheme.

Won't be surprised when Unicron has similarities with Galactus and even a Marvel cosmic being, called Ego, which is a gigantic planet that consumes other planets too, if I'm not mistaken. Unicron even has heralds, just like Galactus.

Dude your theory is rather weak when it comes to the constructicons, did you pull that one out of a fortune cookie? I really doubt Hasbro/Takara or the producers of the show ripped of the Hulk.

If you had just stayed with Unicron as an example then you might have came off seeming like you had something there, but you had to throw in the constructicons which has just flaw your argument.

I hope you where just joking. :redface

Not that I object to this discussion, but it is a bit old. Next up, well be having those "Unicron Vrs Deathstar" discussions.

Isn't the fact that Marvel help develop the personalities of the Transformers proof enough? And the color scheme... green and purple, for both characters is something you should take to consideration. It's not like neon green with hints of purple is the usual color scheme for construction vehicles.....Since Hasbro was working with Marvel to advertise the TFs in the comic books it wouldn't be improbable that they borrowed ideas from their characters and put it into the TFs.

hey, its just an interesting theory that could have some ground. I just noticed some nice similarities, but the color scheme took the cake. Don't be too hard on me, dude.

actually, Hasbro developed their personalities. Devastator was just as mindless in the comic long before his debut in Marvel Comics. The comic gave the TFs the same personalities they had in the show, but the comic was able to give the characters and the stories more depth and meaning, particularly inSimon Furman's stuff in Marvel UK

Unicron would Eat the Silver Surfer, Get Galactus in a headlock, Give him an atomic wedgie, (Ha ha)And then Kill him. After That Unicron would probably do a cute little Victory dance and go back to plotting about how to destroy the matrix
