My g/f is wonderful. After seeing the episode "Along Came A Spider", she was inspired to put her prodigious sewing skills to use and make the costumes for Bulkhead and Bumblebee. We couldn't find quite the right fabric pattern for Bulkhead but I like the one we found. Plus you'll notice she attached "fumes" and little "bugs" at the bottom.Bumblebee's cape came out really well and it looks great close up. It's made of a satiny fabric so it really looks like a Dracula cape. Of course, Bee's back kibble gives him a bit of a hunchback but it's still really cool.

:tflaugh That's too awesome.

:tflaugh That's too awesome.

:pfx Projects like this are just fun. Is there any chance we could get a copy of the patterns used to make them?

(Wouldn't mind seeing one of Lockdown's Fistful of Energon cloak, too.)

I still have the pattern to Bumblebee's cape. It takes a tiny bit of sewing ability to make it two-sided like mine but if you can find a fabric that's black on one side and red on the other and just want to make it out of one piece it would be really easy for a novice. Bulkhead's costume doesn't really need a pattern, it's just a square with rounded corners.

Tonight I will post the pattern for Bumblebee's cape as well as some instructions on making the two.

Stay tuned.

Ive always learned (the hard way) never give out the instructions of your work. (or this case your gf's?) You loose the credit OR get the credit of "creating" them, stolen.

*not saying aoi is gonna steal it, just in general is what i go by. THOUGH, you can ignore this Smooth Jazz if u want.

About the project, like i said in the Lockdown poncho thread, AWSOME!@!!! I REALLY like the "along came a spider" scene.

good job mr & mrs Smooth Jazz!

*looks around the room, hides credit beneath 3-different trenchcoats, runs out* .... *runs back in* ...The door was locked. Anyone have a key? No? :tflaugh

Heh, Kidding aside, if I followed up on Smooth Jazz (and gf)'s work, I'd be happy to give credit for the inspiration.

After looking at the way ppl here treat each other to each others work, (sorta like a family), i take back what i said. I think its great that fans like to help each other out with sharing ideas & designs. I think Mandago's (sp?) thread with the Teletran 1 files help me see this way finally. And alot of other ppls work here.
