Idea for Alt Ironhide

Recommended Posts

well, Sideswipe was a Ferrari/Lamborghini in G1, and he's now a Dodge Viper in Alternators... i think we should try something new for Ironhide as well...

The Toyota Estima is a good car to use for an alt mode in the eyes of G1 lovers, but a Ram would be interesting.

I like it. :thumb

Welcome to the forum.

Looks nice enough..

And welcome to our humble little forum

the Preveia/Estima idea is definitely G1 faithful and I'm *usually* all about that, BUT i think in this case a truck or an SUV would fit Ironhide's tough personality more than a van would. I think a red Dodge Ram or a Dodge Durango would work better.

Here is an Ideal for Ironhide and Ratchet.

These are die-cast from Jada Toys.

i dont see iron hide as the pimp my ride type maybe blaster

I'd go for a Honda Element. We need something that'll take up roughly the same amount of shelf space as Smokescreen and company for this line, IMO, in a 1:24 line. I think this is a line just as much a car model collector line as it is a TF fan line.

I think the Honda element is perfect if you use the back hatch as the chest.

Ironhide wouldn't have to be an Astro it was just a thought, but I don't think most people wouldn't go for a Honda Element for Ironhide either. There is even another topic on that very subject, about the worst ideal for alts http://www.TFans.com/index.php?showtopic=9344 they mentioned a really good ideal for Ironhide a new Dodge Magnum. I have to agree a Magnum would be great for Ironhide, it would suit his personality.
