Possible Magnus armour for 2-pack Prime

Recommended Posts

Here's what I was thinking. Needless to say, it's a project for when I've got a bit more experience, but I thought I'd bounce it off you folks, see what you think :)

Still not quite sure what I'd even make it out of, but I'm pretty sure the joints and everything would work.

:lol at the expression on his face! :lol

It'd be cool to see the WIP (when you get that far). :tfgrin

The only thing this Prime is good for is spare parts, if that. While your idea of making armor for him is noble, your efforts would be better spent on something more worthy of your attention.

Well, I've already got one, so I figured I may as well try and make him AWESOME. :awsum

They are not only possible, they are for sale too:

Alright, took a second look at my plans, and I realized that I don't really NEED those big shoulderpads to move, as long as the rest of his arm has reasonable freedom of movement, so I made a tweak or two to the plans.

Here's the revised plans.

(As I mention under the picture there, I didn't change much on the legs because I've got them nicely figured out on paper.)

But as far as the arms go, I'm unsure about the ball joints just due to the size and bulk of this thing. What do you guys suggest? (Aside from using a better Prime figure :P)

If you make it, you have to make a second head with the expression in the first setup you showed :lol

But if you're going to actually make an armor set for the deluxe prime, I'd recommend going for a Powermaster armor setup, instead of Magnus.

Haha, I just might do that :P

Hey, just updating this because I had a new idea today and wanted some feedback. I saw a flatbed truck carrying big square storage containers, and thought that a few containers of various size would be perfect to make this armor out of, and maybe even incorporate the flatbed itself somehow....Or I'll just give him a big skateboard :P
