your tv/dvd player will still need to be pal compatible.

PAL Format = :fail

Another way:

1/ Buy an all-region DVD player (its not difficult to do)

2/ Or installl one of these two different pieces of software to make your DVD drive in your PC all-region:

- DVD 43

http://www.dvd43.com/

- DVD Region+CSS Free

(Formerly DVD Region-Free)

3/ Go here, or to another site that sells THIS DVD instead:

"The American TRANSFORMERS series last for just four series but the franchise would carry on in Japan. These three Japanese series (”THE HEADMASTERS, SUPER-GOD MASTERPIECE (sic) and VICTORY!”) are presented here in this conclusive TAKARA collection, along with ZONE - a special one-off episode."

Then you can get everything in one box!

sic: Yes, they DID spell Masterforce wrong.

Some of the cheapest dvd players will play PAL format. I had an AMW, and I currently have a NAXA. I've never heard of these brands, but they play PAL dvd's no problem. The AMW was $33 and the NAXA was $25.

Does anyone know if this is going to have English subs that are accurate?

:) :) Yeah, that's what I thought too. It said region free, so I figure it would work with any U.S. dvd player but then I'm confuse with the word PAL. If it's region free, why would it matter if it's PAL or NTSC? I don't know, this format war is crazy. If this Victory boxset works in the U.S. then I'll consider getting the rest of the boxset for Headmaster and the Masterforce from Madman.
