Hello I've been dealing with a company for over a year now (Bigbadtoystore.com) were I get all my Transformer needs, and now feel they’re giving me the old screw job. First of as some of you know they give a flat shipping charge of 4.99 and ship it USP or Priority Mail depending on cost. Now hears my deal. I work Monday though Friday and am not home most Saturdays, so I can't get any Priority mail (had one order from them sit 2 weeks at the post office before I could get it) shipped to my apartment. I told them this and asked for what qualifies for a Priority shipment and UPS shipment. As if it was a Priority shipment I would have to have it shipped to another address, and I was told, over 50.00 UPS and if it’s really light Priority, but all I had to do was specify UPS and they would always ship it UPS to me (seems very kind right, I thought so to, for a while,). I placed two separate pre-orders. One got split up into 4 separate shipments (4.99 for each). And the other came as a set due at the end of August. I got two orders (4.99 both under 50.00 and light so cool, good company), and one of items on this shipment was due at the end of August. I got to thinking if all my stuff ships separately it will cost me 24.97 :eek to ship it all. So I e-mailed the store and asked if they could ship all the items that came out at the end of August together to save me some money (as I would end up paying 24.97 :eek ), and it was all from the same credit card. I get a e-mail back saying one of my items were delayed but they would combine the last two items of the one shipment, but because I wanted UPS they would charge me “around 6.50� as they want to use Priority. Now this is in contrast to their advertised 4.99 flat shipping fee, and in contrast to all of my past orders. I feel I am being taken advantage of and getting screwed. I have spent over 1000.00 in the last year form them and have about 300.00 in pre-orders form them and now they’re trying to over charge me. What’s all your opinions on this. Thanks

If you order a bunch of Preorders at one time, on the same order, do you have to pay shipping for every item as they are shipped?

Orders getting broken up happens, especially when you order multiple items on pre-order.

I HATE online buying, every place gets you at one point or another. I say you raise kain with the company.

i've had shipments split without double ship costs, but yeah, they are a bit pricey.

I didn't have a problem with the splitting it was carging me (6.50) for the order, which is more than I should be charged. Talked it over with them and we came to a agreement so I don't have the 6.50 charge and it's back to the 4.99 charge, so its all good now.

how do Action HQ's preorders work? do they charge you right away or when shipment arrived?
