Magnet Joint Tutorial

Recommended Posts

I prefer not to use magnets,in case i pose it on a cd case.

You do realise that CDs don't use magnetics, right?

Very timely & very usefull guide.

Got 100 magnets this morning.

Personaly i never take much notice about ratings,There is far too much politics & not enough appreciation in the custom forums these days.

Having said that i just gave this topic a 5 (didnt make any difference though).

thanx for pointingthat out, it irritates me in this "tech-savvy" age that people still fear magnetics. and for as weak as the ones used here, you'd almost have to place it directly on a screen or disc to harm it. cds and dvds are both LASER based techs. at my work we make a welding device called a MAGSWITCH it can warp a moniter screen from 6 ft away, when turned on. but it still wouldn't hurt a cd,unless you scratched the cd with it.

BTW great tut. surprised i didn't do one of this before . I just used them to attach a head to a tf because nothing else worked.

if any one has a PAT CATAN'S or MICHAEL'S (or any craft store) I have found smaller highpowered magnets there. they are 2 bucks for an 8pack, usually in the beads/jewelry aisle. I recomend the silver-esque coated ones, they have less of a friction grind

and I think one of the guys that kept giving your posts bad ratings got banned, FR so please don't leave. I hate those other boards,ICK
