So, I have a WIP almost done of... the final fight between Megatron and Optimus prime, (movie style)

One cool twist I want to put on the custom, is it's display is the actual corner seen in the movie, from Hollywood's Westwood village.

Now, I've been looking around on ebay for those model train plastic buildings. I want to line one end of the display with buildings, and the rest with busted cars and street.

However, I don't know jack about these model kits, and don't see ones to scale with the customs they will be displayed with. For instance, I've found one's like this one, but it's only 7½" tall! according to the auction, it's "HO" scale. I've heard I should look for G scale building kits, but coming up with nothing (can only find taverns and western looking crap)

Anyone know of a vendor or company specializing in G scale buildings for this?

I did find a couple of things at Caboose Hobbies.com, but it looks like they only have a couple of false building fronts Peaked Cornice-type & Straight Cornice-type. No pics, I'm afraid. But they list the company that makes those pieces as Big Train Backshop, Click here for the list of everything they have at Caboose. If anything, the links section might be helpful, too.

thanks for the infos!

I actually am ending up getting 2 kits I can mod from ebay, and one from my local hobby shop.

This Blot is expensive!

The Hobbytown down the street from me sells sheets of styrene in all kinds of different patterns including brick...using some of that and some toy constructor sets like LEGO...that combined with the offscale stuff you could bash for windows, facias, and trim, I bet you could whip something together that would get the point across...whats that stuff called I use for my model planes...verlinden??? http://www.verlinden-productions.com/products.html...a trip to a craft store for 20 bucks worth of random stuff couldnt hurt either...

Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
