WiP, but nearly done:

Need to repaint the fuselage (first assembly attempt left scrapes--had to go back and file down some bits) then reassemble.

Oh yeah, and add wings, details, etc. :D

Should have more in the next couple of days.

I have a Ramjet just sitting and waiting for me to paint him. Looking good.

Not bad! Look forward to see how this is going to turn out.

BTW, Are you still playing HMW anymore?

Thanks.

As for HMW, I kinda am, but not lately. I dunno, it's not so in me to be participating right at the moment. But I'll still play it once in a while.

edit: (typo)

Are you gonna use G1 Thrust wings?

I was thinking of doing up a masterpiece Thrust, and bash the wings from a 1/48 F-15

i have a feeling that he's going to use classic trust wings, just like me. :tflaugh

Heh. Can't imagine where you'd get that idea. ;)

I might have him all done today--including detailing. I'll try to post images tonight.

Hmmm....should I ask if I resemble that remark?

(bad)

Anyway, no-go on new pics tonight. The wings are being stubborn. Unfortunately (and I forsaw this) the pegs attaching wing to body hinge snapped on both of them, mostly because the molds were off by just enough that they couldn't fit. And the plastic is just weak enough that once they snapped into place, they snapped off immediately after.

So, I've resorted to epoxying the wings onto the hinges. I can only attach the wings to the hinges because I still need them to angle back a bit from the top so the arms can have room in robot mode.

EXTRA: GREAT! Didn't even send this post, and upon going into the room to check on it, I tipped it off the table with the edge of my shirt. Both the wing I'm setting in place and one of the tail fins broke clean off. :danmit

You know, this one's giving me such a hastle. I've had the most paint-scrape issues with it, AFTER filing bits down...the first paint I got for it was the wrong shade when it dried and I had to take it off (luckily just the one leg) these custom pieces, while better than I could make, aren't molded quite accurate enough to just snap right in, so I'm having to mod--which is creating problems.

*sigh* Don't get me wrong. He'll be pretty cool when I get him finished up. It's just a matter of how long that'll take...

Edit: No, wait, more bad news. Apaprently the tailfin broke in TWO places. And I can't find the other piece.

Hopefully I'll find the bit somewhere, and after that I'm calling it a night.

I had an awful time with my classics dirge, must be a cursed mold! I had to leave a portion of the wing white because it kept flaking off during transformation, now I just finished another project and my DAMN pc broke! so I have to use my Wii to do everything, so i can't upload pics! UGH
