Games Workshop & Hasbro TFs wargames?

Recommended Posts

The idea sounds cool, but it probably wouldn't sell that well. The gimmick to transformers is the transformations, and if you had to buy two models for every figure it would start to get expensive. Oh and there is nothing wrong with pen and paper RPG's, its just like playing Final Fantasy on PS2. The only difference is video game rpg's are "less" complicated number wise and actually there's a little more room for imagination. Just my two cents on the matter.

TCGs!

i play r.p.g games and will be the first to say its a little geeky, but i dont think transformers would make a good game ( heroclix yes ) if you want a robot fighting roleplay game check out mechwarrior/battletech the role play game,

its true ladies love guys who collect toys, my other half keeps doing secret shopping for TF'S now i,m collecting them,

I ove x-bobs idea for heroclix. Heroclix are tiny little rubbery plastic statue like things attached to a base which can turn to show life poins i guess (i dont have any ive just seen them)

Give it a shot. I'm a bit sceptical as to Habro licensing their stuff, since they now own D&D they might want to do that sort of thing themselves -- if they were going to do it.

I like the idea, but my wallet is only thick enough to pay for one type of crack and this is currently it, so I doubt I'd end up buying much.

That said, the above posts surprise me. I figured that the TF market had a lot of gamers in it. But now that I think about it, collecting is a thing one can do on one's own, whereas gaming is a social affair. So, perhaps, that is the key to the difference.

the fort. max. Heroclix would be bigger than the Colusus
