Erm...anyway. It does seem like the scalpers have struck again. But something tells me that they're gonna get it in the end. Most fans aren't all that phyced for these things so I doubt many people are gonna try to buy them off ebay for super high prices.

Yep scalpers hoping to cash in on the movie hype.

I'm not interested in any of these.

Would have liked to gotten my hands on Optimus Prime but all the others are just poor and I do not want them.

What would make this news better? If it were revealed that everyone who complained bitterly about this year's set being crap had their names posted on the Botcon site as having bought it! :lol

Don't fool yourself, there are plenty of people that will buy something for absurd amounts of money even if it is truly crap (I don't think this set is crap, it's nice, but not super awesome).

My personal feelings on the set:

 

Optimus Prime - crap

 

Goldbug - Meh, be like a repaint in a line that I would sit on the fence about

 

Jazz - Decent tribute to the G1 figure, but out of place. Pass

 

Grimlock - Inadvertent (maybe?) Trypticon tribute. See Goldbug

 

Starscream - Jetfire wanna-be, crap

 

Razorclaw - CRAP

 

While this is a decent setup overall, the Prime unimpresses me to no end. Kudos for those who want to get bent on eBay to get these.

I actually have to amend my earlier comment about liking Grimlock. I forgot that that mold has a robot mode, which sucks.

Um....seeing as they're all sold out, can BotCon just reveal the rest already? What's the big surprise when they've all already been purchased? :tflaugh
