Armada/Energon Optimus Prime = this guy sounds terrible.  He even sounds like he's fat and has a sinus infection.

Oddly enough, both are voiced by the same guy, namely Garry Chalk...

 

Armada/Energon Megatron = Don't know who the guy is but I like his Megatron

Beast Wars Megatron = Once again, another cool Megatron voice.

 

Same guy again - David Kaye. Best Megatron EVER. Yeeeeees.

I think you're right. I beleive Welker is in evry cartoon on Cartoon Network now. I know I heard him in that Kids Next Door show. That show sucks, it just happened to be on, but I beleive I heard his voice in it.

Kree Summer is becomming as "PROLIFIC" (thanks to LM for the new word) as welker. she has been on every modern cartoon that comes to mind except TF, although I havent seen ARCEE on energon yet so there is hope.

Welker has been every animal noise in every cartoon since 1969 when Scooby-Doo started. (He was Fred, for those not aware of his humble beginnings.) He was also the bad guy in Mulan, if anyone ever saw that.

BTW as anyone who saw Garry Chalk's DVD interview knows, he modeled his Prime after Cullen's.

chalk aint bad, unfortunately he is the voice of a badly written prime (great primal tho) I like the energon prime as a toy(zord) but he is my second least favorite energon cartoon character

Frank Welker is a mixed bag IMO. He gave us Megatron, Soundwave, Rumble, Frenzy, and Skywarp, but he also gave us Season 3 Galvatron and Wheelie (both of whom definitely had "I want to gnaw my leg off to escape this show" voices).

 

But my all-time favorite award goes to Dan Gilvezan. He is the MAN. IMO his voice work rivaled Peter Cullen's in terms of consistent excellence and pure acting ability.

Yeah they should have given Dan a better role than Bumblebee. :tftongue
