Pure speculation - do you think they'll introduce Galvatron during the first 2 series? I mean, we know he gets his body about 12/13 (right?), so maybe season 2 finale?

Well actually, some rumors hinted that Megatron's body will experience further technological advancement, which possibly could resulted in the birth of ... Galvatron?

Considering how crappy Classics Galvatron is, it makes me wonder if Hasbro doesn't think that the character is all that popular. Oh sure, they featured the Galvatron concept in AEC, but that really wasn't anything more than Megatron getting a new paint job and changing his name, not to mention that he always went back to calling himself Megatron by the next season. Considering the quality that Animated is striving for, they would probably have to do something a little more upscale than that if they wanted to bring in the Galvatron upgrade. Simply repainting Megatron would be too anticlimatic for story purposes.

Just hope all his wisdom and intellect by manipulating Prof. Sumdac, that we witnessed on TFA so far, won't go vanish, and turns him into a ravenous, insane, a mean bully to fellow Decepticons, and lay some random smacks for no obvious reason to whoever nearing him.

I think the Classics Galvatron mold is full of win myself, but to each his (or her) own. I agree with some other people in here, slapping a new paint job on Megatron and calling it Galvatron is getting incredibly old now. That's been going on since RiD, so what... 7yrs now? QUIT IT! If you want to introduce Galvatron, coining an automotive phrase, it has to be a revolution... not an evolution.

Haven't they said that, other than Prowl, there would be no Animated characters in Universe? I think that pretty much rules out an Animated Galvatron until well after the Universe version has been and gone.

Well maybe Megs will upgrade in to more powerful forms, except that he'll retain the homage factor to his original G1 form and won't actually start calling himself Galvatron. So it's more like "Super Megatron >>> Ultimate Megatron" instead of "Megatron >>> Galvatron".
