Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal are two entirely different characters.

That doesnt mater he's a wannabe anyways or he wouldnt try to lok like Optimus Prime

The only similarity between Prime and Primal is the head. That's it. Not to mention on the show, Optimus Primal had a mouth. Prime didn't.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I didn't know you posted I was Disa greaing with LoTM's earlier statement.

Well, in all fairness, Optimus Primal's original tech spec *does* indicate that he is meant to be a "new version" of Optimus Prime (the same is true of BW Megatron). I know that in the show (as well as in all future Primal tech specs) this was not the case, but still it's worth mentioning. Obviously there is also the name similarity (the "Prime" only being changed to "Primal" in an attempt to cleverly indicate his "beastie" nature), and Hasbro also did intentionally make Primal's head sculpt look very much like G1 Prime's. Hasbro obviously wanted something to tie in to G1, since they were taking such a huge gamble with the whole Beast concept to begin with.

So really, it's not *completely* out of bounds to compare Primal to Prime.

However, LotM is still a doofus, as he has offered exactly ZERO real arguments for his position. And really, this whole "TRUKK NOT MUNKY" debate has cobwebs on it anyway. :roll

Oops, sorry :tflaugh1

Lets start the Truk not powerzord debate

(actually I like the current prime as a toy (just wish mine did not have a mouth :tfsad )

"Prime" :thumb

Hahahahahahaha!

No one dignify this with a response, please.

EDIT: Crap, too late.

HA! Good point there.

BTW I used to think Beast Wars sucked. And then I actually watched the show.

This is a foolish discussion, started by a fool. People like Prime or Primal for different reasons, b/c they're different characters. Enough with the stupid.
