Admittedly, I'm not real bright, but I can't do it from memory either.  Seriously, if I ever lost the directions, I'd never be able to combine them again.  :)

yeah, that's why I asked. They're impossible to combine from memory. Thanks.

Hey, I do him from memory, and I never even touched the instructions until I had him memorized. And both Magnus and Prime, of course. Plus I just looked at the instructions for fun, because the way they're designed, if you've got them combined stably, then there's nothing you've missed.

The only time I've ever used the instructions were for G2 Windrazor and Afterburner, and for combining Magnaboss and Tripredacus. All when I was a kid. Well, and the alt-mode pics on RiD Galvatron's instructions, so that I could figure them out for my Megs.

Plus I found an extra little bit that's not even in Omega's instructions: Omega Prime's head slides forward a bit and clicks in place, which locks the neck rotation. Seemingly useless at first, but it allows it to swing into Magnus' cab with no impediment (when the antennae are positioned correctly, of course), which is a problem that some people seem to have with Magnus.

Pretty much, at this point, if I have to look at the instructions before I have the transformation mastered, then the toy has to be one hell of a tough cookie. Omega Prime, Landfill, Railracer, Energon Mirage... they haven't come close yet.

I mainly had trouble figuring out what to do with Magnus' head, and just opening up the whole chest area in general until it CORRECTLY slides into place on Optimus. Legs and arms were easy, the chest was a pain. But I got it now, and he's being displayed in all his majesty :clap

Yes, with his majesty look, majesty sound effects(Omega Fire!), and his majesctic pulsing neck(or eyes, if someones thinks about it like Hasbro :tftongue )

I do him from memory, and i have only two more toys so time-taking to change- my Binaltech(connecting Smokescreen's legs with chest while finalizing vehicle mode is reallly annoying)

Unfortunatly, my Omega Prime has problems with his legs- when I take them to a stride, Omega is totally unstable and falls on back if there's no wall behind. Magnus is just too heavy for Prime :redface

the thing is, this is my only TF I need instructions for. Probably cuz I left him in Optimus Prime's supermode for the past couple years. All my other TFs I can transform from memory.

Yeah, Prime's ratchets don't take that weight very well at all (to say nothing of the fact that his forward/back swivels don't ratchet...). Bizarre design choice.

Not being able to transform a transformer from memory???

Hmm, this leaves me to one conclusion, IT'S A WITCH! A WITCH I TELL YOU!!!!

no, that's only if a girl correctly answers a math problem :tfgrin

he's not that difficult once you know how to do it (for Omega Prime approximatively 2 times using the booklet would do fine)

same for Alts and Big Convoy

the trick with most of those is to get all the parts in place

I can't find my instructions to combine RID Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus into Omega Prime. Anybody know where I can find some?

Well mine were in the little bag stuck to the back of the box insert.
