Wingsaber and Energon Gestalts in Package

Recommended Posts

P.Prime has brought forth images of 2 of the Gestalt leaders and Wingsaber in Powerlinx Battles packaging.

They look pretty nice. If anyone was still questioning it, we know for sure that the combiners are to be packaged individually. I ilike how they show the figure as becoming which part of the final gestalt. What I wonder is what they'll do with the basics. Will they highlight a random arm/leg or will they show both possibilities?

Well, I know it's Superion Maximus...so if he's Constructicon Maximus, there's a pretty good chance we'll see the other one with that name too. I actually thought it sounded cool with Superion, but it just sounds corny if they give it to all of them.

The Autobot Air team looks great, they'll probably be a US only thing like every other good TF is, so the chances of them being released here any time within the next few years is slim.

All......

I......

Want........

To.......

Know.......

Is........

WHEN ARE THEY COMING OUT?!?!? :) I must have them all! ALL! ALL!

So if I'm inferring properly, there will be 1 larger combiner robot ($10ish) with 4 smaller ones ($6ish?), a la Defensor, Abominus, Superion, etc? If so, that's a neat idea, and keeps it within reason as far as price goes.

I swear, upon pain of catapult, that I shall own all three Energon combiners AND All normal G1 combiners (Superion, Defensor, Devastator, Predaking, Computron, Abominus, Menasor and Bruticus, did I miss any?) by this time next year!!!! I only need Predaking, Defensor and Devastator from the G1s.

These will probably be out in the fall (Hasbro posted the date of 11/04, but I remember some of last year's stuff at that date were out sooner). They will likely be the first true Powerlinx Battles deluxe wave (the first PLXB wave is just a refresher with repackaged product).

And yes, these are designed in the same vein as the Scramble City type combiners you described. But bear in mind that due to financial constraint, each combiner will only have 2 unique limbs, which are then repainted for the other two limbs.

Looks good to me. I can't wait until they come out around here.

very sweet

what size do you think they are gonna try and seel Wingsaber as? he looks like hes in a "Super" box

Gah! Me and DLP were joking a while ago that they'd called Devastator Constructicon.................How were we to know that they actually would?
