I have seen the Alternator pics of Track on the Hasbro webpage and he is Blue but the Binaltech version is Yellow. Is this true, because I would rather have a blue tracks

Yes, the Alternators version has been officially switched to Blue, and the Takara is yellow (we've seen in-box pictures). Chances are, Takara will end up putting out a Blue "USA Edition" of Tracks at some point, but who knows how long you will have to wait..

but if its a USA edition, then it will highly propably be plastic and not die cast, no?

I wouldn't think so...that's just the name Takara tags onto any toy that they repaint like a Hasbro release. That's why I use the " "s when I say "USA Edition" because it's not exactly the same, it will have the metal.

I saw somewhere that the yellow color didn't work with the plastic, so they ended up having to make the Alt Tracks blue. The yellow plastic ended up a bit transparent.

There's also two other possiblities:

 

1. They could do a Blue Tracks E Hobby Repaint or

 

2. If they follow the 2004 Smokescreen route of updating the car chasis some then its possible his color might be changed

I wonder if they'd add die-cast on the Japanese one if they do release the blue one there?

i wanted a yellow one as well as a blue maybe i'll get the BT ooow my wallet

Now that would be a cool ideal for Takara to do a remold of Tracks into the new C6 corvette and in blue. Or use a C6 remold for Wheeljack. :thumb
