The only reason I ask this is beacuse out of all the Superlink and Energon figures this one is the most diferent. Now I already have the Energon one but the superlink one is more show accurate.

If anybody has them both please say what you think

I like the Superlink version a bit more as the colors are a little easier on my eyes....which is always a good thing. :thumb

Mega Zarak all the way, he has no clashy colors and more unfied color sheme plus metallic colors

Uh... megazarak isnt more show accurate, the energon Version is, im not going to say which is better because I think there both great figures, but if you already have the Energon one it makes it pointless too buy the SL one there virtually the same figure dude.

I prefer the Hasbro's version better for its rugged paint and stuff, which I think is suitable to Scorponok's nature. The Takara version is very shiny and displayable but it is a bit unreal. The tail portion of the Takara portion is completely green while Hasbro's actually has black line designs, which I think makes the toy less plasticy. What I'd fault Hasbro's version for is the choice of orange for the claws and feet.

I have both

The black designs on the tail of Scorponok are nasty looking...they have no fluency and don't belong there.

Toy to Toy...I'm not sure.

Scorponok is closer to tv accuracy, altho the animation designers compromised and gave the show model elements from both versions. I love the look of Megazarak, but he really looks like some bizarro-world version of Scorponok...My primary gripe with MZ is the lack of paint on his upper shoulders.

Looking at my shelf, I have TWO sets of complete Hasbro decepticons, and one set of complete Superlink Decepticons..that puts me up to about three of each mold, I own. On the bot end, I have doubles of all autobots, and some Superlink versions of them..I hown FOUR Hotshots, Two Infernos, three Primes, etc...I don't see anything pointless about buying the toy you want, in any number...I love my extras.

MZ is too pretty. I like the ugly color clashing on Scorponok because he's a big ugly guy. It just seems to fit him better.

Scorponok, the shades on him are more accurate to the show than MZ's and the extra apps like the dirtwash on his claws really give him a gritty feel :)
