You are all forgeting there is an alternative transform for side swipe and they have delayed his and deadend over here in europe,maybe they will release siders with new transform and repaint the other bro, the originals were similar and this would also make them similar but not identical to each other

I like the deadend. it is a great remix of the viper and different enuff from lambor to be appealing. as for a streaker. it would be nice to have an alt with a different transform. the cool thing about the brothers was that although the cars looked the same, there robot modes transforemed differntly. but I am not Starscreaming, if they came out with an alternators wheelie, I would buy it (well maybe)

alternators Wheelie would have to be a go-cart or something.

Its not like Dead end is Sunstreaker and just a wrong color (i.e. tracks) otherwise its udnerstandibly that some people would want him blue, as its a simple color change. But Dead end is a complete different character thats a different color, car, and side (decepticon) than sideswipe. Its not like he IS sunstreaker like tracks IS tracks (just a different color) There is NOTHING that says hes sunstreaker aside from the fact that hes based on the same car that sideswipe is, and his head mold slightly resembles streakers.

The head on Dead End also has an mean look on it's face, so it's definitely a different character.

 

If he were given a smile and painted yellow, then we would have Sunstreaker.

any reissue of G1 Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, or Mirage is highly questionable since Takara & Hasbro supposedly could no longer find a decent set of molds for these toys. Sunstreaker hasn't been reissued in Japan (or even announced for reissue) so I find it highly doubtful that Hasbro would even have plans to reissue him anytime soon.

It's still possible because Takara (unlike Hasbro) has rebuilt lost/damaged molds. Soundwave comes to mind.

What I originally meant by this tread was do you think Hasbro might try and suprise us with a Sunstreaker after the OTFCC. It would be a really nice gesture to the fans. Beside thats who Deadend was originally ment to be in the first place.
