I've been doing almost weekly bot runs at five Walmarts for the ten months I've lived here, and never ran into anyone before. I was a little suprised to run into two transfans, one holding the Silverstreak I was looking for...at 4am. Didn't talk much(still had three more stores to go), just about how Hound was nowhere to be seen, and other possible locations of SS, but it was neat to know I wasn't the only one hunting in the area. I'd known there are some fans in the area from the sightings forums, but never had the pleasure of meeting anyone in the flesh. Pretty cool. :)

 

Anyone else run into any fans on their hunts?

well today I was at my walmart picking up omega by the way he is fricking HUGE and damn twist ties I hate twist ties but this kid was like "wow sideswipe turns into a viper this is so much cooler then armada and energon he looks real" I was like yes see even the little kids like more realistic tfs better

Regardless of what you may think from toy commercials, kids don't stand around spouting out propagandic phrases about toy products being superior to one another. The kid is gonna want what he sees on tv, and most kids buying Energon have already forgotten about Armada.

I've never met the Transfans I know from online. Most of the ones I met in person were friends that got back into it at the sae time I did.

I've been hunting down TFs for the past 6 yrs and have yet to see another fan. If it weren't for the net I would think I was the only one out there. Usually kids walk right past the TFs and go to the beyblades. One time the kids were like "I got this one and that one and I really want this one". I'm looking at the massive pile of Beyblades stuff trying really hard to find out what's the difference between one box and the other.
