Frankly, I could have done without them. I mean look back at th episode "Autobot Spike" from G1. If you look at the big perspective, The Autobots spend half the time just trying to save spike or one of those stupid kids and to keep them out of autobot business.

I liked Daniel

I picked Kicker he can actually fight thus he has a reason to be their and is not useless like everyone else, I personally didnt like spike and hated Daniel.

I like kicker with Spike as a close second. Only because Kicker seems to be more involved in SUBSTANTIAL plotline whereas Spike was just basically a cheerleader. I like Spike as an adult more though in the post movie era.
