copy protection is a fruitless effort that costs studios millions of dollars and you can bet they pass that cost on to the consumer, but yea theres been hd backups on torrent for a few weeks now

when you say something unbreakable your sorta asking for it to be copyed

You see it in counterfeit bills, counterfeit CDs, counterfeit everything. Build a better mousetrap and there's gonna be a smarter mouse out there to snap it. Unfortunately, it makes it harder for an average joe like me to do CD mixes or true DVD backups. If they didn't charge $30 for a bleeding DVD, maybe people wouldn't hack the damn thing.

They make copy protection which raises the price of the DVD which makes people more apt to try to copy it which spurs development of better copy protection which again raises the price of the DVD which makes people want to copy it even more which spurs development of even better copy protection which raises the price yet again which...

This could get out of control in a hurry.

imagine trying to download that sucker off bit torrent though... yikes.
