Now that we are getting a Grimlock... I was thinking we need a decepticon leader. Since we probably won't see Prime/Megs in BT... I suspect the leadership will be GRIMLOCK vs STARSCREAM.

 

Here is what I am thinking of doing when Alt Tracks comes out.

 

Interesting concept, but it looks to much like a jet, in other words, homage to the extreme. If you get Tracks, make the canopy a lot smaller. And try to make his missile launchers like WW Screamer. Maybe you could use E-Screamer's tubes?

eek scary x__X although grimlock wouldnt make a good leader hes not smart enough.

Actually, Grimlock is an amazing leader in every single series except the show.

 

But if your only exposure to TFs is the show then you might not know enough to see that.

I go by Dreamwave's version, and Grimlock is a Military genius, the speech impediment is only to fool those into making them think hes stupid, but I would love to see a version of TRacks like that, cause did'nt Hasbro or someone say that the repaints would be decepticons?

so maybe im subject a lil bit but does this Starscream Vs Grimlock dialogue assume that

 

a) there is a "Story" to the BT/Alternators? cause i didnt think there was any point other than making amazing models/figures for the adult collectors (who happen to have nostalgia for GenOne characters)

 

b) 20thAnni-PRIME is officially NOT considered part of the Althernators? I realize that he isnt in terms of name and box design -- but the theory behind WHY the alternators are being made is the same as the Why prime was made....

There is a story. Every BT comes with a card and a booklet. They are telling the story of Alternators through the Bio and Storyline.

 

Dead End's part of the story said Starscream stole the BT technology with the help of Dr. Arkeville and made Dead End the first BT decepticon. BT technology protects them from the 'cosmic rust' as well as makes them stronger.

*20th Aniversary Prime is not in scale with the BTs.

*Prime is not part of the BT storyline in any way

*BT storyline has a Leadership vacuum right now and seeing that we are getting a Grimlock, I suspect his BT bio and story will have him as leader.

*They have already named starscream the driving force behind decepticon BT.

*We will never see a Masterpiece Megatron and An Alt Megs would not be in scale to MPC so we won;t see them. The line will be prime/megsless

If these Bios only come with the BT's then is there somewhere where these have been posted and translated??

 

I thought Prime was 1:24

 

and i agree that a there wont be a G1 MEG and unlikely at Tank to that scale (though that would be sweet).

 

So is there any actual concept of WHAT starscream is going to be?

Im getting the impression that all we get are sports cars so a 1:24 Fighter Jet is out of the question

 

Anyway -- with or without a story i am totally enjoying my Alternators and my only real complaint is that they are taking too long to get all the way to california
