I just got E-Ironhide today, and he is kick a$$! I don't give a damn about the "visible head" thing, and he just ROCKS.

 

Oh, and before someone says "Hello! And welcome to 5 months ago!" or something like that, I know. I just never got my say in.

Have to agree with you there plus I think he is the only cool looking one holding the energon saber

...Except for the fact that removing his boombox renders him headless in robot mode. :tfevil So it was GRIMLOCK who ate his head... :tflaugh1

Yay, another person to come around! That whole visible head thing really is a shame. It adds character to the toy, and since it's actually used as such in the show, then at least it doesn't sit there looking stupid. But unfortunately, because of that one minor detail, a lot of people dismiss him as crap. But he really is a gem. Solid modes on all fronts, good poseability, and he's even got one decent sound (actually, his missile launcher sound rocks. Unfortunately, his turret sound is irritating as hell. If you can remove that trigger, he'd be prefect). And yeah, he's one of the few figures that really works with the Energon Saber, too. Helps that he's the one who uses it most in the show (aside from Kicker).

his boombox can be removed without removing his head. just take out the screws and clip the wires (u dont want the electronics anyway... do u?). now in alt mode u can turn his head around and now his head is hidden just as well as other "heads-out" figs! :thumb

He's not the "jewel" of the line by any means but I will get this guy eventually (probably the repaint by the time i decide to) it's just that there's so many of him sitting on the shelves, so my priority always shifts to the "hard to find" ones. This is also the same reason why I haven't picked up Optimus yet.

Uh huh! He looks just like the one in the show, but I hate it how his shoulder cuffs always fall off. Other than that he is awesome!

He is great the only thing Roadbuster has on him is better feet and Missle.
