Laser Prime really is IMO far superior to the Classics version. He's about just as posable, but the different parts of his body better relate to one and other. With Cl Prime I feel that the upper body is too small compared to the bulkyness of the legs. Furthermore I really feel laser Prime his colors are better. Laser Prime also has more playvalue with the trailer becoming one of the coolest, if not THE coolest, trailer-battle platform of them all.

 

Megatron...is another story. I've never owned the CL version, but I did own the BWII Megastorm version of the G2 tank. The toy is a brick. His hand hardly reach beyond his chest and the design is plain. CL Megs is by far the better toy of these two.

Classics. It was kinda neat to have another variation on the cab for optimus. Altho I guess the other prime was a new cab, too.

 

I thought it both hilarious and awesome that Megs ended up a nerf gun. His bot mode is sooooo cool.

 

And I'm a sucker for articulation.

G2 megs beats Classics Megs in looks. Not that G2 Megs is a good toy... In fact, he's useless beyond his looks. He's like an oversized Brawl.

 

As for the Optimi... I wish I even had a Classics Optimus... Damn Hasbro distribution.
