Recommended Posts

According to Hasbro UK, they won't be releasing anymore of the Alternators range in the UK, they released Smokescreen had plans to release Sideswipe but no retailers wanted to sell them so they have been dropped from being released.

well that sucks, glad im in the US otherwise id be spendin some $$ importing them

Lucky Brits, they got one more toy than Germany got...

I had to import them from the beginning.

How will this affect Hasbro Netherlands' range? They just started releasing Smokescreen.

some one is going to get hate mail and thank god for argos (err...) so long as they give you the one they ask for not give you one at randum like they did/do

just as bumblebee looks like being released and if they dont release swoop over here ,again, id cry

You two did click my link, did you?

Here's the update for those who don't know what a link is:

I work for Argos Retail in the uk.

We are getting in the silverstreak Alternator. Also our computers tell us that other Alternators will follow under the same number.

We have also energon megaton/prime under the same cat number and price and unicron/omega under the same cat number and price.

The new Catalogue is out next Saturday where these items are pictured.

Looks like the brits dont have anything to worry about after all. :clap

I.ve been travelling for the last year and it seems to me that a lot of countries get pooped on by hasbro/takara.

Australia - yeah they get TF's but seems late compared to USA also you would always see the same TF's in every store... (unless you were really lucky!)

(Thats my opinion from 3 months in brisbane)

UK - where i live normally. Woo woolworths have some old (naff) armarda figs for more than i can get them imported for! yay... I dont live near a big town so the import shops don't get a reckoning for me... Argos - hello random selection? no thanks.

Deutchland(germany) - I found some wave 1 energon in Berlin. pricy too. in toysrus(Kiel) i found nothing... Nicht so gut !

Rome - where i am now. found some amarda in a department store. not reduced though.. thats all!

Hong-Kong. At last! some TF's i may actually want... still hard to find (i only had 2 days, knew nothing about HK and only spoke English/some german). found lots of the collection re-issues, mini TF's , loads of TF 'collectables' ( i use that term loosely for any stuff that doesnt transform). got some very very cheap KO's in the night markets. However despite searching manically i couldnt find a good toyshop!

Ebay/on-line stores are the only way it seems...

ho-hum

And to think once there were European exclusives....
