Q: A few weeks ago you posted information about attending OTFCC on July 31-August 1. Will you be going to any other conventions this summer?

A: Yes, we also plan to be represented at Comicon in San Diego from July 21-25. During our panel at OTFCC (July 31-August 1) we plan to discuss our plans for Spring 2005 (Transformers Energon: The Powerlinx Battles) as well as the next series following Energon, Transformers Cybertron. Additionally, we will be giving away an exclusive convention mini-comic as well as uniquely colored Energon weapons at OTFCC.

good update :) Got the first official annoucement of Powerlinx Battles (and hopefully see the assortment for it) and the news of exclusive colored energon weapons is a great idea :)

The only thing I want to know is what on earth is going on with Alt Tracks?

Is he yellow or blue or both?

sorry had a bad day.

Unique energon weapons would be cool. Really wish I could go.

I'm starting to wonder if those new prototypes we're seeing are actually for Cybertron, or just the powerlinx battle segment of Energon. Im inclined to think the latter, but the lack of energon spark ports seems to combat this.

I guess we'll see in a few weeks...hopefully.

Considering that the "Powerlinx/Unicron Battles" portion of Armada consisted almost entirely of repaints, I have the feeling that the new gestalt and dino-prototypes we've been seeing are for Cybertron.

The new toys we have seen are TOO finished to be for Cybertron! Hasbro has basically just said that the line on the shelves in spring 05 will be Energon, it would make no sense to finish toys NOW for a line that won't start until summer at the earliest.

Armada's last two waves (which shipped from about September to November) were repaints, but they were the last waves. It has been said REPEATEDLY that Energon is an 18 month line, meaning that we will see Energon product until next summer. From images posted by S250 at 2005, all of the combiner limbs have Energon ports.

Cybertron is coming, but we still have a LOT of Energon product left.

Mabie the combiners are the resedents of the alternate dimension?

Mabie the combiners are the resedents of the alternate dimension?

That would make sense. In show terms: if they weren't part of the original Autobot/Decepticon teams they wouldn't have been built to accept Energon stars.

but alot of the Energon Gestaults I have seen HAVE energon star ports AND energon weapons (they make up the feet and hands it seems). That doesn't mean that they may not be part of Cybertron thogh. I wouldn't be supprised if the energon weapon idea carries over to the new series, just like the minicon idea was carried over into Energon :points to the minicon ports on various figures and the two minicon groups of Energon:
