:schin I seem to remember an E-hobby exclusive repaint of Starscream being called Sunstorm. That must be where the inspiration came from

Actually Sunstorm is from a coloring error from the first ep of Transformers...there was a yellow seeker for 2 seconds

that's what Josh is talking about. The whole story involving Sunstorm (and the three Seeker clones) came from those exclusives.

Now where are my green and navy generic seeker figures? :schin

It wasn't an error, not everybody without a name is an error, he's just a generic Background guy.

Is anyone else just totally tired of this one already? I mean, I'm reading it and all, but it just doesn't give me a "WOW!" reaction in the least. In fact, I'd describe my experience with it as "bored". They really need to cut to the chase with this story.

I'm not bored with this one. The scenes with Megatron were awesome.

I like the battles between Transformers least of all. It's about the story, about plot, characters, creating a believable world in which the story is set. Anyone can have big robots fight eachother, but cool battles doesn't mean a good book. If you look at the old G1 comics, there isn't that much fighting going on.  If you look at DW's G1 V2, there are only 2 battles, with only plot-development in between, nothing more.

But, when it comes to this story, I do feel that there can be more 'world-building', so to speak, and less decompressed plot-development.

true, and I'm not bored by this story
