I hope IDW's Trypticon is like the one in War Within characterwise

Read the preview to Stormbringer in the Free Comic Book day comic, the same pages that's also available on-line. Proves again how much better you can read something if it's printed on paper, because I hadn't noticed a small naming error in the preview.

 

On page 4 one of the technobots tells Strafe that if he wants he can stay on the ship, but the one who replies in the same speechpattern they've given Strafe, is clearly Scattershot (while his text makes it clear it should be Strafe).

 

Same thing happens in the first panel on page 5. Strafe, struggling in the back, asks if they're there yet. He's answered by Lightspeed, whoe says: "Something like that, Lightspeed."

 

Two minor glitches and I only found them when I read it for the third time (although it felt wrong from the start).

 

Other than that, it looks great with Don back in full throttle. Great to have the Technobots back and Jetfire looks great. Much better, IMO, than his WW design.

 

Am so looking forward to reading the rest of this comic.

I like the designs, but I'm not familiar enough with the technobots to know which is which when all I'm given is a head shot.

so...did #5 come out today or not?  I thought it was released teh first wed of the month, but I couldn't find it :(

Well you could always check IDW's website, they update it every Monday with what is comming out that week.

I only have nosecone, and they drew them much better than what the three g1 epsisodes they were in.

Its good to see the Technobots getting good artwork treatment at long last
