why not, we've already seen the classic characters a million times over. I'm sick of waiting around for them to use the later characters. DW waited, and then the axe fell.

It's a little awkward that Infiltration is just starting to pick up and we've just starting to see the Transformers (heck, no Prime yet) and then BOOM! We're going to Cybertron with Thunderwing and the gang. But it is better than making the story an extension of old G1 continuity or DW's.

Don't forget more characters. I mean, I know that there have been a bunch of characters in there, but they haven't all been in there much. They've been more like cameos at this point.

True. I wouldn't mind seeing the battlechargers getting a bit more time. I never liked them before but they make good grunts in this series. And who could forget the classic line?

True, Wheeljack and Jazz have effiectively done nothing yet other than be props.

Maybe this means that characters will be introduced moreso in this continuity. One of DW's problems was it assumed you already knew who everyone was, which was fine for hard core fans, but useless to newcomers.
