I'm still waiting for the G1 Dinobot reissues they said were coming out this year. But by the looks of it, i'll be waiting a loooooong time.

At least Hasbro is trying. Sort of. To be honest, I think it will be better if Grimlock was repainted and remolded in the BW Megatron Transmetal body, and Swoop the Terrorsaur Transmetal body. Those two repaints would be awesome!

I'm happy for the new molds, though grimlocks bot mode doesn't look all that cool, but his beast mode is spot on....and swoop rocks big time....so all in all I'm happy with what we're getting. :clap

I think they look okay, but hopefully they will put more development into the figures before production. Grimlock's robot mode looks incomplete (What happened to his waist?) and Swoop looks like he could use some paint detailing.

Overall, I'll probably pick them up because I'm such a fan of G1 Dinobots, but I'm a bit underwhelmed. I agree with Waspinator. Repaints/remolds of some recent pterodactyl and tyrannosaur TFs would probably be better.

uhm...i dont like to be pessimistic but im not impressed. big grim seems kinda weak. swoop is just ok. are these meant as basic figs? well its still in the works so heres hoping they improve alitte b/f they hit the shelves.

They are being sold in a two pack at the Mega pricepoint

Well I like them, at least they are new molds. And they should powerlink too right

and I'll say it again.... look at Grim's backside... under the beast mode head.. is another head... Do the dinos make a gesault? Which would account for Grim's unusual shape

Swoop is huge! I guess two deluxes then, rather than one deluxe and a basic. I like it, and they both still look good.
