a reissue I'd like to see

I've been out of the loop of Transformers discussion for a long time. Can someone tell me how we know for certain that Fort Max and metroplex failed the drop test? Was that something that Hasbro or Takara said? Because I don't understand how Metroplex can't be reissued by Takara because of the drop test when supposedly Fort Max also failed and was made by Takara somewhat recently. The same goes for Trypticon. Metroplex is pretty close to that size, but they used the Trypticon mold not that long ago.

Japan doesn't have the drop test.

Hasbro was going to release Fortress Maximus during Robots in Disguise, but couldn't because he failed the drop test. Then they had Metroplex tested (I'm not sure if he was going to be a reissue, or a substitute for Fort Max in RiD), and he failed too.

I'm surprised a range of Supreme-sized Citybots with Mini-con combatablity weren't made during Armada. It seems like an obvious move to me.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks to me like the current heads of Hasbro not only seem to hate gun transformers, they don't care for city bots either. Figures the size of Unicron and Omega Supreme could easily be city bots. Omega would've been better as a city bot than a boat and a train, IMO.
